As a Project Manager, you will be overseeing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific AV systems integration projects. In addition, the Project Manager will ensure projects achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements. You will be responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the timely, accurate, and on-budget completion of the project, according to established AVI-SPL Project Management process and procedures.

The Installation Manager is responsible for managing, leading and coordinating the fabrication and installation department, to ensure deliverables are on time, budget and meet AVI-SPL’s quality standards and best practices. The Installation Manager is also responsible for coordinating with Project Management and other department heads to ensure all internal engineering, CAD and programming deliverables are prepared for field engineering, shop, and installation activities. This role will also manage and coordinate external activities including all outsourced or sub-contract work in support of project installation activities.  As an Installation Manager, you will mentor all technical staff.

The Onsite Maintenance Technician will work in partnership with the Customer, management team, Global Helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.   

The Installation Supervisor is responsible for mentoring and overseeing the office installation teams. This position can have between 5 and 10 direct reports and will support the Operations/Installation Manager while serving as a field change agent to help improve overall communication, project execution, and efficiency with Installation Technicians. 

The Design Engineer transforms customer needs into actionable solutions through system design and detailed documentation. You will work closely with sales team members, including Account Managers, to understand client requirements, identify potential risks and communicate with stakeholders.

The Installation Technician 3 will perform installation tasks for AVI-SPL contracted projects including but not limited to: cable pulls, cable terminations, system equipment and components, rack fabrication and wiring layout for equipment and metal fabrication.   The Installation Technician 3 will be expected to lead and direct installation crews on larger, more complex projects by coordinating and reporting progress to Project Manager ensuring projects achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements.  Candidate must have Connecticut Electrical Low Voltage License or Higher.  L2, T2, C6, E2.  We do offer a state-sponsored apprenticeship for candidates that do not have one of these...

The Onsite Maintenance Engineermanages, maintains and is responsible for all service and repairs of client’s audio visual and integrated conference room components / equipment. This role interfaces directly with client's daily and his / her responsibilities include maintaining daily functionality of all audio visual and integrated conference rooms.

A Senior Design Engineer’s main function is to provide presales support by acting as a technical consultant to the sale force with generating functional system descriptions, block flow diagrams, estimating hours, highlighting logistical challenges for the sales team to consider while pricing the opportunity, and equipment lists to enable generation of customer proposals. A Senior Design Engineer is also leveraged by the post sales team for project engineering and or on gong project consultation. In addition, this role is expected to review and validate the work of a Design Engineer 1 and 2.

Job Summary A Design Engineer 1’s main function is to provide presales support by acting as a technical consultant to the sales force, generating functional system descriptions, block flow diagrams and equipment lists to enable generation of customer proposals. A Design Engineer 1 is also leveraged by the post sales team for project engineering and or ongoing project consultation. 

As a Programmer 2, you will create and modify control system software for integrated Audio Video Systems by converting requirements into a functional user interface and control code.  Additionally, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders to meet unique requirements and work with hardware and software systems and platforms to deliver a system with robust capabilities. You will also install control programs and touch panel designs onsite, offsite, and remotely.  In addition, a Programmer 2 is expected to review and validate the work of and mentor a Programmer I and Associate Programmer.

The Onsite AV Maintenance Technician will work in partnership with the Customer, management team, Global Helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.   

As a Project Engineer, you will design, specify and manage the installation of integrated systems. You will be responsible for the technical oversight of a project from award through installation and completion. You will also identify special requirements for the projects, including but not limited to: test equipment, specialized tools, and rigging support.
