They will be responsible for building and developing a high-performing team by directly working alongside them, setting clear expectations, coaching, and holding team members accountable to deliver results. QCC facilities are a new and evolving aspect of AVI-SPL, so the Warehouse Manager will need to showcase their previous experience in designing, implementing, and refining warehouse processes and workflows that enable successful launches and ongoing optimization. Collaboration will be key, as the role will work closely with Operations, Logistics, Project Management, and Engineering to anticipate needs, remove barriers, and support seamless execution of customer and project requirements.
This role will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, staging, order preparation, quality control, and shipping, with a constant focus on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. By developing performance metrics and evaluating operational data, the Warehouse Manager will contribute to making informed decisions that improve productivity, cost control, and service levels while maintaining accurate documentation across ERP and warehouse management systems. Safety, compliance, and continuous improvement will remain central priorities in cultivating a culture of accountability and operational discipline.
Additionally, the Warehouse Manager may assist in managing vendor and partner relationships through specialized purchasing programs, ensure facility readiness and equipment reliability, serve as the primary point of escalation for operational challenges within the warehouse, and make sound decisions to resolve issues quickly. Beyond managing day-to-day functions, the Warehouse Manager will champion process improvement strategies and best practices to standardize operations collaboratively across multiple QCC facilities as the program scales. Ultimately, this role will ensure the Quality Control Center operates as a best-in-class warehouse environment that supports AVI-SPL’s long-term growth and success.
