The Onsite Digital Signage Engineer leads the overall onsite service and support for Digital Signage. The engineer will also assist in the implementation of new hardware and software.
Daily tasks
• Coordinate, Operate, Manage, and support all activities/events relevant to Digital Signage.
• Complete logs and case notes for all managed events
• Other duties include scripting, monitoring, troubleshooting, escalation, and technical documentation drafting.
• Identify gaps, successes of implemented new technology or software changes and the effects there of
• Provide consultation for technicians on signage technology and other technologies pertaining to this architecture.
• Perform troubleshooting and training clients and internal teams as needed.
• Attend department meetings and training sessions as needed.
• Other mutually agreed upon duties as assigned.

• Proficient in networking concepts, including TCP/IP, firewalls, and wireless communication.

Education and/or Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or Technical field degree preferred.
• Understanding of live event production.
• Must be able to work various hours and shifts.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital signage, AV systems, or related IT support roles
• Demonstrated knowledge of Video Teleconferencing endpoints and infrastructure
• Knowledge of Digital Signage solutions from Planar, Brightsign, Appspace, Samsung, SignageOS, and others
• Participate in daily reviews with Service Manager or Team Lead.
• Participate in weekly review sessions for major events.
• Participate in weekly planning sessions with core IT supporting groups
• Participate in engagement of new technologies.
