Job Summary
Perform equipment rack fabrication and wiring and systems installation activities at customer sites and company offices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Solder and crimp connectors where needed
Construct equipment racks and perform metalwork fabrication where required
Load equipment rack as per layout drawing and wire per system schematic
Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
Troubleshoot fabrication issues when requested by client or office
Assist with and perform installation tasks. Duties may include but are not limited to: Pulling cable installing connectors projector mounting/hanging (ceiling mounts) and metal fabrication
Other duties assigned as needed

Ability to test equipment and perform basic troubleshooting
Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written
Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills
Education and/or Experience
Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated working knowledge of AV practice and rack fabrication techniques
InfoComm CTS qualification
Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards
