Description

Job Summary

 

  • This position is primarily responsible for providing administrative support to the Learning & Development team. This is a fast-paced position that requires superb communication and organizational skills as well as a high level of attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Manage system administration functions including the set-up of user accounts, security permissions, learning profiles and notifications to ensure that appropriate learning is delivered to the target audience
  • Partner with the L&D team to create and run a variety of training reports and conduct data analysis of end-user training consumption
  • Work with cross-functional teams to standardize, streamline and coordinate processes to maintain accuracy and data integrity within Learning and Performance management system
  • Send new employee listing to AVIXA for membership
  • Monitor, track, and notify employees of AVIXA membership benefits as well as notify AVIXA of terminated employees who need to be removed from corporate roster
  • Monitor, track, and run employee certification renewal reports
  • Proactively manage training request tickets
  • Process certificate uploads and course completion within LMS

  • Demonstrated experience with research and information gathering, including the ability to quickly gather data in a short timeframe on a wide variety of topics
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
  • Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion
  • Ability to effectively work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally
  • Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

 

 

Education and/or Experience

 

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years proven work experience in relevant HR role
  • Experience operating in a complex matrix business environment is desirable
  • Intermediate proficiency with demonstrated experience utilizing various computer software programs such as online payroll systems, HRIS, and LMS preferred
  • Excellent PC skills, proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
